with Cathy Skipper
Wednesday 23rd July 2014
10am - 5pm
A practical day formulating and learning how to use essential oils and hydrosols internally and externally in a herbal treatment.
The day will include a study of the protocols used for safe administration of hydrosols and essential oils, including precautions and different Galenical forms and methods of administration (internal, cutaneous, respiratory). We will then go on to blend some high quality, effective and safe formulas taking into consideration individual needs of patients, synergy of the oils, a suitable method of of administration, the Galenical form and the dosage and duration of treatment.
Cathy will bring a selection of hand crafted French essential oils to work with.
