9.30am - 4pm

Discover the art of creating beautiful living willow structures, that will live on for years to come. Richard Kerwood of Windrush Willows will guide you through all you need to know to grow, harvest and weave intricate living willow structures to delight and surprise.

As well as hands on skills honed by creating a living willow Trill tunnel, you will leave with the knowledge of how to design, build and finish your own creations - however unusual they may be!

Learn the process of working with living willow from start to finish: how to select the correct varieties for your purposes, how to plant, prune & care for trees, harvesting techniques, and how to store, dry and prepare whips for use as natural living resource.

You will be working outdoors all day, so wellies, waterproofs and warm clothing are essential and you will warm up with a delicious organic lunch of farm produced treats.

This is a family friendly day - bring the kids and learn to create something amazing for your own garden. Up to two under 5s may accompany each adult for free. You must be responsible for your children at all times.
