Friday 15th July

3pm - 5pm

An informal afternoon forage with herbalist Anne McIntyre, identifying and gathering the vibrant wild bounty of the summer that can be used for health.

Exploring the species rich meadows, fields, orchards and hedgerows of our organic farm, we will talk about how to turn the plants we find into simple home remedies or use as tasty additions to your meals.

To learn in greater depth about what we find, and to taste it, come along to our evening Supper & Conversations at 7pm, where chef Chris Onions will be incorporating the harvest into a beautiful three course summer supper, and Anne will discuss the history, folklore, scientific research and medical uses of the herbs we eat.

Anne McIntyre is a Fellow of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (FNIMH), and has been practicing herbal medicine for over 30 years. She lectures widely on Herbal Medicine in the UK and America and is the author of around 20 books on herbalism and Ayurveda.
