Part 1: Weds 11th July 2018 2-4pm (does not include lunch but possible to book)

Part 2: Sat 14th July 2018 10am-4pm (includes lunch)

The bees at Trill Farm have been working overtime and the hives are fit to burst already. As such we would like to invite a small group of beekeepers and potential beekeepers to help our resident apiarist, Julian Barnard, to help process the Trill summer honey.

Part 1 will consist of an afternoon of learning how to dismantle and work with a full hive.

Part 2 will be a full day processing the honey including a tasty farm lunch at the Old Dairy Kitchen.

Each participant will leave with their own jar of the golden nectar and head swarming with ideas for how to safely care for their bees using Julian’s low-intervention techniques. There are a limited number of places, so please book quickly.

If you would like to book in for farm lunch on the Wednesday, please book your place by contacting the Old Dairy Kitchen or ring Chris on 07999 923089.
